Hi

I am currently trying to create a league for me and my mate to have a muck around on during the week over the next few months. This is what I have planned can you advise whether this is at all possible, and if is would the changes need to be made to my mates database to allow him to access mine via the net!

a)2 Team League made up of the top teams (Euro)
b)3 Up 3 Down scenario
c)A Cup encompassing teams from both divisions straight into 1 off matches
d)A CL style Cup made up of the 16 teams from Div 1 (No real rankings)

Also trying to change names of of favourite teams Villa and Wolves to include them in the league etc and we have had a selection of the best players from the top 16 teams. to even it out etc....

SO can it be done? if so can you help me do it as I am a total computer user non technical went in comes to this kind of thing.

does this mean you want 2 leagues with the best teams in europe?

I assume this is 3 best are promoted and 3 worst are relegated, is it so that you want these teams to go back to their previous leagues?

I am afraid I do not understand this...
A cup with both these top leagues, that much I get. But what is Straight into 1 off matches?

A league cup for your new league in other words? totally possible.

If you could provide some more accurate information on your plans we would be able to help you more.

Hmm yes, transfering players is not a big problem and changing names is not a problem either. I do suggest that you both use the EXACT same database to avoid problems. If you need a detailed description on how to do this provide all the details you can think off and I'll see if I can't fix up a tutorial for your or something.

For c) I think he means a cup with teams from both divisions, where every team enters at the same point and where there is no seeding or anything.

ah, so a knockout tournament? or do you think he means with groups?

Hi

Sorry bit sketcy details this is what I propose

2 Leagues of 16 teams
bottom 3 league 1 drop into League 2 (No relegation from League 2)

Champions League style group matches as 1 cup

So all teams in DIV 1 are put into a group of 4 play home and away and then top two go through.

Cup 2) Both Leagues entered random draw a one off match (Just like FA Cup)

Think I have sorted out the switching the of players from one team to another, but can not seem to change team names.

Your assistance would be appreciated

PS sorry for terrible english and spelling, trying to write this at work, whilst boss is mooching around..

Ah! That's easy Do you want them to have the same nationality as before?

oh and I'd personaly like to hear what players you've picked for your teams Also, do you want any foreign limts? Cause personaly I prefer none.. but of course it's individual.

We have used CM scout on the top people for all positions have a squad of 22 each 2 for each position --- Then had a transfer pot that we could bargain with. Long story but good fun..

I do not want any foreign restrictions as is super league, but would like them to keep nationalitiy so they can play for country etc.

So these is easier done than said by the sounds of it
