When it comes to making a player/editing a player there are a few things you have to take into carefulk consideration.
1. Age. You wouldn't expect to find a young 18 yr old with mega high stats. He may excel in a few but not all, if you make a player to young the game will roll his stats back. Though there is an expection to this which is CA/PA.
2. PA/CA. Bascailly CA ≤ PA which is to say CA has to be less or equal to PA. If you are to give a player high stats and his CA is still low or he still has a way to go until he reaches his PA then the game will roll back the stats to allow him to progress and develop his potential.
3. There are a certian amount of 'points' each player can distrabute among his stats, therefore it would be wise that if you had a striker now to waste it in stats that arent relevant, such as marking, tackling etc
4. PA's max is 200, though you can set it at -10,-9,-8 ... -1, which means the game will give the player a random PA bewteen 2 fixed variables.
5. FMM is a good way in 'tweaking' a player after intially making him in the offical editor as it is real time and you can see the results of the editing.
Hope this has been of some help
