hi! so this is my prob. i just downloaded a new db but i don't know how 2 use it. i can not check "use user data" (preferences) cuz it says : "this setting does not take effect until the game is restarted". HOUSTON UR MY ONLY HOPE!!!

When you dl a new db make sure you have put it in the correct folder(s) preferbaly the db folder in my docs and the db folder where the game is installed.

Then you load up FM2007 and clikc new game, when this happens a box appears giving you the choice to select the db apart from the defualt one. hope this helps.

Alos I'd like to bring to your attention that there are forum rules such as text language and thread title. If this forum was moderated heavier then more than likely the thread would have been closed, so just be careful, make sure your thread title is more descriptive in the future

thnx JJ! but u didn't quite solve my prob. u c i got all the db in the right folders but the prob. is that the box u speek of does not appear. what am i supposed 2 do???

This problem has occured to many people, there is a whole thread on this below somewhere you can read more on it i thinmk its titled 'cant load database' it seems that with some people the update patch didnt install correctly, and it maybe the same with you, what seems to have worked for some people is a clean uninstall and a clean re install ... make sure you delete all registry entries when uninstalling. And when you install it all, turn off your anti virus just for that period of time, just in case.

ok. so i've tried all that sh** on "can't load database" but i still ain't got no freaking box where i should choose my db from!!! SOS

Did you do a clean uninstall and a clean reinstall? deleting registry entires? cleaning FM cache?

yes! i tried everything the box is nowhere 2 be found... damn box!!! so any other ideas???
