Hi there,
I've been readind all the post related with my problem, and tried everything I founded, but I'm still having this problem, which makes me very sad.
Many of us couldn't update to version 7.02, because even having right downloaded and correctly installed the patch, it seems to be impossible to play, because when you open a new game, the box where supposely you have to select a database to load it never appears.

To check if the patch is good, I opened the editor, and there I loaded the 7.02 and even the WeeGiE Update, and it loaded and worked perfectly for edit. Edit which I saved too, and as the same as with the db updates, it doesn´t appear the be selectionable when I try to start a new game.

Perhaps it has to do with the fact that this is a new PC, running under a Windows uE version, different from the XP one I used in my older PC, where I never experienced problems to load an alternative db.

Now, with all my heart I ask for help from someone who used to had the same problems, but made it to resolve them; to please post how they achieved it.
I read a lot of us experiencing this annoying ****, and no solution shared.
