I am furious with this editor! I spent several hours last night tinkering with leagues, awards and teams to make a superleague of the top 8 teams.
It turned out whatever league i chose just gets dropped from the list as soon as i edited them. So this morning i started afresh and traced my steps, i did some transfers, fine but then as soon as i touch the teams in Iceland the name just drops from selection when i go to start new game.
I ensured that the teams i replaced were swapped so that every club should have its place but that was all i did.
The point to my rant is this, the old cm4 editor allowed me to go to any competition and edit all the details (without having to choose a league with the right ammount of teams), it allowed no restrictions and was much easier to use.
Im really annoyed because of the time spent and would urge SI to create an editor that edits!!
You're right. I prefer last years editor tbh, and they used this one for FM05 iirc, why they changed it I don't know.
Still if you look down further on the topics there is an independent editor being worked on called FM07SW PC Editor by Oldham. Have a look in the thread to get more info. The editor was supposed to be out a while ago, but the fella writing it has been busy with stuff according to thread. But from the sounds of it, it does seem really quite good, and could well be worth the wait.
