This cup is precented in my database but dosent exist when starting a new game.

Should the cup be there?
maybe the cup is extinct?
Can I have prevented the cup some way in the editor?

(I changed a few compation names in england, not this cup though, and added 5 lower division clubs)

No the cup shouldn't be there, it was stopped a few years ago irl. The competition will be played in FM08 because it has come back irl.

I didnt think it was coming back :S
I was under the impression that it would take a different format.
Where the 48 Blue Square North/South teams battle it out untill there is 8 left. They then join the 24 conference clubs?
Or am i wrong?

It is the setanta shield, yes.

No your right, the original format won't be coming back so I suppose the setanta shield will be a new competition in FM08.
