I think the word 'exploit' is the wrong choice, It's more likely to be down to the closing down at the back issue so crowding that area with bodies would seem like a good idea. I'm sure you wont get the same effect after the first patch.

Maybe the formation
4-3-3 is much more aggressive and it may help create plenty of goals
as i use 4-5-1 or 5-4-1 thus i got no more than 2 goals in one match and i lost no more than 1 goal each match and the results are still good

I'm also playing a 4-3-3. And I'm so glad this system finally seems to work in FM. Problem is that although I create a lot of (very) good changes, my strikers have a hard time to convert them.

For example, I was playing a quarter final of the ECL with ManUtd vs Sevilla, and over the two legs, I had a total of 49 shots (32 on goal), but 0 goals scored! And there were some very easy changes, which I expected players of ManUtd's quality to score. But alas, I lost both matches.

So, some more people having this problem. Maybe it's because I play quite a high tempo game?
