Hi,
After playing on Fm 2007 and while reading Cleons and WWFANs work i became pretty good at the game, good enough for my friends to call me a cheat anyway.

However seeing as most gurus wont post their long posts till the patch comes out i beleive this could be a place to tell us your theories so that others can mix and match and see what happens who knows maybe we will make a sucessful tactic.

So come in and describe what type of player you are.

I used to use tweaking on FM 2007 i followed Cleons approach and changed tactics to adapt to the opposition. I havent really been able to get this to work well so far so i have been trying other aproaches and i have been reasonably succesful just making a few tactics, i have used a 4-3-3 to get a goal then i will drop down a level to a 4-1-2-2-1 and this has led me to be high up the table with middlesbrough.

So come in and say what aproach you have been using and we can discuss tactics. We can then try to solve each others problems and hopefully make the game more enjoyable for all.

I keep the same system but watch the scout reports to adjust if and when needed along with the weather conditions.

I've found wingers to be alot more effective this time round.

ye i used to do that and yet again i have found wingrs o be very good. They are taking on their fulbacks well. Anyway what team are you and what kind of base tactic are you using.

the simple fact is that SI have acknowledged that's theres a major closing down issue in he match engine....and closing down is vital part of the game.

So anything you come up with now might simply not apply when the patch comes out, hence most people are sitting tight and just messing around with ideas at the moment.

I'm certainly not going to post anything definitive until post-patch. As I live in Oz I can't even play FM proper until Oct 25th anyway. I'm anticipating mid-November being when I post anything of any worth.

thanks wwfan i look forward to it you inspired me last year to go into depth with tactics and now its the most important part for me.
