Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

We have the generic positions available which is great. I would love to make and save my own base "set to" instructions. I would make a "set to" base for each player according their abilities.

Advantages would be:
- simply plugging a sub into a game without tweaking the sliders each time.
- trying new formations with much more ease.
- once I have instructions set perfectly for a players abilities I don't have to spend time remembering how many ticks to this or that side of a slider and can focus more time on the big picture. Less tedium = more joy.

Would it really be that tough for SI to implement?

You can do this via xml/fmf

Though not until SI release the fmf tool.

I agree with you chadnw. This is something I'd really like as well. as I'm kinda tired of having to move the sliders everytime. And as I rotate my team a bit as well, I need to adjust a lot of sliders for every game.

I think you might be able to adjust the XML in word/notepad

Do not attempt to edit FMF files in notepad or any other program.

The game will stop working.
