Did really well with Leeds in the demo. After a poor pre-season and slow start I managed to go on an 11-game winning streak in all competitions.

Many of my early defensive problems were solved from swapping Matt Heath for Paul Huntington (Heath is WAAAY too slow).

I've favored a 4-1-4-1 formation prefereably with Beckford as the lone striker (he's been scoring for fun!)

I've loaded the same game into the full version and am hoping to carry on the good streak!

What tactics? Tried the 4 1 2 2 1 and beat swansea 5 -2, but can't win the majority of games.. close games and getting beaten and struggling to score.. doing my head in lol

Trick is to try and get morale up, once you do that your flying.

I just play with a default tactic, I haven't changed anything, just time wasting at the end of away games.

Today I've played the opening training fixture against Drogheda away about 15 times. 1 win 2 draw and lost the rest. Lost with 7-0, 5-0 etc and I have used no strange tactics, just 442, 4132, 433 with pretty standard tweakings.

Well I am currently in my 2nd season with Leeds and going well, into the Championship (via playoffs) and am going strong.

It's still early days but I am hoping to finish in the top 10, that would be a good season and then look for promotion next year.

The good thing about Leeds is that they acquire money really quick, I now have 11million in the bank as I have not gone silly with wages.

Still using the default tactic I mentioned earlier but have now brought in Rasiak from Southampton for £1.6m and play him as a targetman with ball to head, that along with counter attack and tight marking. Everything else is as default tactic.

Did you bother changing mentalities for individual players brazil? or did you even leave them on default normal..

Thing is I'll change sliders to compliment players and also compliment the team instructions, and we'll play well but still lose by a goal or 2....

No, I left everything else as default.

I wouldn't go messing too much with individual sliders on FM08 with crap players, that's asking for disaster!

it really ****es me of how when u come out of minus points your job status automatically becomes insecure. it took me 6 games to get out ofminus points , and apparently I was managing "unsatisfactorily". is it just me who had this problem? im past it and im in play offs now but still
