Playing after a few version, how come the superb 4-2-4 still appears for the opposition at the last 10mins? Why?... And no matter how strong my team is, the lesser opponents ALWAYS manage to snatch a win or draw from me through this tactic... Can anybody help me?... I try to use 4-2-4 against them, but they still score against me...

Have you tried reducing your mentality to a defensive disposition? Also try increasing the levels of Time Wasting to Often, this should help.

Failing that, try a 5-4-1 defensive formation for the last ten minutes.

To combat the 4-2-4 AI tactic I always go with a 4-1-4-1 formation......does the trick, just make sure that the FB's are very defensive and so to the Def Mid with forward runs and dribble set to rarely.

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.
