help! i refuse to be one of the top four teams but every other team is **** no formation or tactics can help me who has won without being the top four teams and how?

I'm currently 5th in league, after 34 games, reached League Cup Final and FA cup Final (still to play) and all this with Derby County, and only 4 signings, all in my first season!

I still lose against the big 4 (cept for knocking Man U out of FA cup quaters at Old Trafford) but it is possible to beat them.
It's mainly down to good tactics and alot of luck though A bit like real life!

I won German Bundesliga in my second season with Dortmund.I have also won The German Cup 2 times in a row and League cup also 2 times in a row and reached semi-finals of the uefa cup.Now in my third season w play Champions league,we've just beatan Man utd 2-1
