Have just noticed that my striker on the left of the front 2 always scores more goals than the one on the right, even if i switch the strikers round the left one always score more... is this a bug or what??
cheers
p.s not sure wheter this is the right area to put this point!!
My 15 million new striker can't hit a barn door when on the right, but he scored twice since I put him on the left, so maybe you're onto something there, jimm69er.
Yeah maybe you are onto something.
For instance.
My left winger (Pearson) gets more posession, assists, goals and MOM than my right winger (Barnes) who is a far better player.
Seems like my team's bias towards the left side even though I play mixed focus passing. Strange!
The bias towards the left side theory has been about for ages. Must say it's something I think about when choosing which side my better defensive players play on.
As for strikers, I prefer playing a lefty on the right and vice versa. I think there is something in playing them on the opposite side to their strongest foot.
I don't know if many people have seen it, but one of the in-game hints and tips is that if you play a left footed striker on the right they might score more goals.
So I think that if the majority of strikers are right footed, then this would explain why your right footed striker being played in the left SC slot would score more goals.
