It's a shame you can't see Boruc doing his girly dances in FM, it's quite a sight believe me. Or his blatant crossing in front of most fans or running to opposition fans. He's a good keeper, but not anywhere near as good as Gordon despite what any Celtic fan tells you. Look on youtube at his goalkeeping errors against Hibs and you'll find out how consistently good he really is.

I've been reading over this thread for a wee while now and have decided to comment. I am a Rangers fan and a not particular fan of the Celtic keepers attitude, however he is a very good goalkeeper.

His shotstopping is second to none and there is a definate passion and determination to do well in his game. His distribution is excellent both with his feet and his throws but where he falls down is his coming for crosses which he sometimes doesnt make and can occassionally spill the ball.

He plays for a big club and has performed well both domestically, internationally and on the European stage. Despite not playing in one of the biggest leagues I dont believe he would have anything to prove if he moved to somewhere like the supposed 'promised land' of the EPL.

People saying he is one of worlds best are wrong and people saying he couldnt cut it in a better league or bigger club are also wrong. With time and working on his weaknesses and improving his attitude he could be up there with the likes of Buffon and Cech.

That is all.

Boruc is a quality goalkeeper non the less i have the pleasure of training with him 3 times a week and i have to say he would definately make it in the premiership. Buy me on FMO8 i turn ou half decent haha

This is pathetic, really.
Boruc is indeed, a very good player. However, in my opinion anyway, there are only about 5 or so world class goalkeepers.

Look, Boruc has made around 4 mistakes in his Celtic career, wow. 4 mistakes. You all talk about his howlers, ok, maybe he did have an off day... doesn't everyone?! Tell me a goalkeeper who has NEVER made one mistake. Anyway, like I said, you all talk about his howlers but seem to desperately sway away from the subject of his <STRIKE>great</STRIKE> amazing, heroic saves.

Opposite to this however is the other side of the argument...

"DAVID JAMES IS AMAZING! MOST CLEAN SHEETS!"

It's just a total contrast... yes, david james has made mistakes, and the biggest club he's played for his Newcastle in his prime.

And like i'm going to state, you can't compare the two, different completely. With the money Portsmouth get, they should have a good defence to help get DJ clean sheets.

Now, comparing spurs to celtic is just plain stupid. They don't play in the same competition year in year out.

EPL - SPL
... - CL

There is NO criteria to match them on
And then there's the money difference. Big compaines like Sky pump huge money into EPL teams like spurs. Celtic's biggest funds come from the CL on the other hand.

Celtic could never even dream about paying 17m for a striker - who isn't topping the european golden boot, it's Scott McDonald... 700k stiker.
