I have a network-game going with a friend, and we are in mid-November at the moment. I’m playing as Villarreal, and he as Atletico Madrid.
I have brought in Insúa, Anderson, and Lucas (all on loan), and bought Patricio Araujo, Lorik Cana, Frederico Agilardi and Marko Marin. I have sold Franco, Josico and Mavuba.
Sitting 3rd in the league at the moment - 6 points off the pace, but with a game in hand.
I’m playing a 4-2-3-1 system, with patient slow build-up and short passing, focusing the play through the middle. Riquelme is pulling the strings along with Fernandez and Cani/Pires.
I don’t score too many goals, but I concede even less. I grind out many 1-0 or 2-1 wins.
We will probably play some more this weekend. I will try to update our progress.
