So it's 2010-2011 atm and in the game I am in Middlesborough have been deducted 9 points for going bankrupt. I've never seen this happen before. Then in the next week they announce they can not afford to pay players wages and have had to terminate the contracts of the likes of Robert Huth and Aldiere and a few others. A week later they termintate a few more contracts. I'm trying to pick a few bargains up, vulture style, as every other reasonably sized club is (I'm Notts Forest in Premiership BTW). Any of you people ever seen this happen before??

In second place, I was trailing Sunderland in the Championship by quite a few points, and suddenly, they get bollocked by 9 points and release two players...they still go up :thup:

They return to the Championship next season, get 9 points taken away and release two players again.

Happened in my game pre-patch. Man Utd went into administration and got docked points. They had to let Hargreaves go because of it. I took Ronaldo off them for 30M odd and Chelsea took Rooney for around 38M or so. Tevez went to Real Madrid for 25M, Carrick left too (dont remember for how much or where). Ferdinand was being poached by AC Milan as well and would have left soon enough. Didnt continue that game anymore though as the final patch came out and I started a new game on it. It doesnt seem to be happening now.

Chelse had to let go of players such as Joe Cole etc as they spent too much money on players and their wage budget was too high.
Tevez went to Real Madrid too.
