Ive stated it in the Liverpool thread already but as acentral midfielder post patch Stevie G is playing like he's had a stroke, he must be replace, but with whom? (must be MC natural)

Xavi is god if u could part him with Barcelona!! also depends how much money u have to spend.

Also iniesta can usually be signed for around £20-24m and is sheer quality. if ur lookin for not as big a name player try and bring is either miguel veloso or sully muntari whos ratings doesnt show how well he actually performs in the game. Rafael Van Der Vaart is brilliant too as most will recommend on here! just a few for you to look at

Xavi (he's getting on a bit though)

To replace him, you'll need to get an experienced hand in. You cant get a youngster and wait for him to develop because Gerrard is a big void to fill. Moutinho may not be able to do that. But the other 3 will. And since you get atrocious amounts of money in the game after a couple of successful years, you neednt worry about cash or striking a good deal.

Maybe they messed up and put Gerrard on the setting that makes him think hes playing for the national team?

I'd go for one of the Lyon boys, Toulalan, Kallstrom, or Bodmer. Fabregas would of course be the ideal choice, otherwise maybe Perrota or Silva.

dont think fabragas is realistic, Established players dont come cheap and its hard to find some that play well at MC for some reason, Van Der Varrt would be an obvious choice but I hear hes shocking in that position. Ive got Lucas, D'Alessandro and Matias Fernandez who could also play there but there not really the same kind of all action midfielder Id be looking for, and I prefer the latter 2 on the flanks. Maybe Il have a summer reshuffle and see if I can work out a better formation to suit my current players, I really like 2 up front even tho my strikers havnt really been playing very well (Im lookin at you Aguero)

sometimes the players are in bad form. for me he is quite fantastico so just let him have form. if you have gone a season or 2 without form sell him and get nuri sahin. his mental stats are good and his playin stats become good. he plays well

Lucas would be the obvious choice, a real midfield general. Otherwise try Javi Martinez, he is pretty much Gerrard clone. Both young players... Most of these other suggestions don't really make sense
