i am playing with Real in 2009 and cannavaro is really getting old....


Who is the best defender i can get in the game, cost not withstanding?

Exluding Terry of course, he's just an unrealistic target in so many ways

hmmm in 2009...Breno is a gem, pique and corry evans can also be taken into consideration... check in juventus, i thnk they have a very solid defender

barzagli is perfect replacement he may cost loads tho as you are 2 season ahead.

Barzagli and Cristian Zapata. They both have their defensive attributes nearly maxed.

The 3 best defenders in the game are Barzagli, Terry and Toure. Barzagli is the best imo but between Terry & Toure, I'd choose Toure simply because of his acceleration and pace. Zapata is brilliant too and probably the most reasonable.

Pique or Criscito (Juventus) two very good young centre backs or obviously Breno

Doesn't get much better than this... in fact Zapata is an exact copy of Barzagli...

zapata is the best, pique is too slow and gets caught out because of it so I don't know why a few of you mentioned him!
