I'm in 2013 as well. There is a full squad but I have loaded the A-League (perhaps that's the reason?) and most of the Oceanic nations have non-grey players. The NZ has quite a strong bunch of strikers at this point in the game, but not much else. Cheers.

I was going to post something like this. I've got Stalybridge about to be promoted from the Conference National in 2011 and Australia offered me the job. I haven't decided yet but it's tempting mainly because they offered it.

In recent history Australia have taken higher calibre managerial candidates than that. I'd say you're on shakier ground than any Kiwis getting their national job with comparative levels of mediocrity.

Well after 7 years I've dragged Blyth up to the league (my update thread is around here somewhere). So with that achievement, the fact it's a lowly international appointment, I'm a Kiwi, and that they've asked and I may not get the opportunity again, I've accepted and apologise if this rankles with any LLaMa.

And besides, if it proves to carp or dull, I can always resign.

If I swat crappy Oceanic nations aside, I'll run into a bastard hard Sth American nation for qualifying anyway. The end is nigh.

I ended up turning it down for that reason, and that I don't think my club would be happy about me splitting time. The sad thing was no one at all had applied.

I qualified for the World Cup with New Zealand on my 06 Billericay save, but I played an Asian team in the playoff, not a South American one. Thumped them too, might have been North Korea.
