Loaded up a bunch of leagues on background, with Iceland only selected as active. Holidayed for a year and took over newly promoted Magni.

2007

There were no players or staff at the club, so throughout the preseason I signed 17 players on frees and a bunch of decent coaches. Our form was erratic, and due to the league season having only 22 games, we stayed in touch with both promotion and relegation throughout. However, a 3 match winning streak at the end of the season saw us steal promotion with an injury time winner in the very last game of the league.

1st division: 2nd (promoted)

Icelandic suck whale arse lower league cup: out in groups
Icelandic suck seal arse cup: out in first round

Player of the year: quick AM/FC, who was also top scorer.

2008

Media prediction: dead last, board and fans want a brave battle against relegation.
Signed 7 guys on frees, two others left. Form was even more erratic than last year, with alternating winless and unbeaten runs. Luckily there were clubs crappier than us, and we secured our existence in the top flight with two games to go.

Premier division: 7th

Icelandic suck polar bear arse upper league cup: out in groups
Icelandic suck seal arse cup: we actually managed to edge past Lettir, IA, Fylkir, KR and HK (all by a one goal margin or on penalties) to lift the cup and secure European football for next year.

Player of the year: top scorer S C, also young player of the year in Iceland.

2009

Media and board/fans: same as last year.

For the first time I had a 5k transfer budget and blew it all on a promising winger, 5 other players joined on frees, with 3 guys heading in the opposite direction. In the league we did poorer than last year, again however we were saved by the fact that three other teams were even worse.

Premier division: 7th
p18 w4 d8 l6 gf21 ga24 pts 20

Upper league cup: out in groups
Icelandic cup: out in quarterfinals
Icelandic supercup: winners on penalties
UEFA cup:
1st qualifying round: won 5:1 on agg. against Seekirchen (an Austrian lower league team who somehow lifted the domestic cup)
2nd qualifying round: lost 2:3 on agg. against Monaco

Player of the year: the S C repeats last year's success (despite scoring a whopping 3 goals in the league)

2010

Media and board/fans: same as last year.

Last season's European exploits give us an even bigger transfer budget and again I spend it all on a promising AM C. Other signings include a towering centre back and a skilled attacker, while 4 players leave on frees. We start the season pretty badly, but improve dramatically towards the end and even have a shot at a UEFA cup slot, but a goalie - oppo striker pass & a failure to score against nine men in the following game caused us to finish fourth. We still got into the Intertoto, though.

Premier division: 4th
p18 w6 d8 l4 gf24 ga19 pts26

Upper league cup: winners on penalties
Icelandic cup: out in qtr final

Player of the year: towering D C

2011

Media: 7th, board/fans: stay clear of relegation

Ten players join for a combined 6k, 14 leave on frees. We get battered 0:4 in our first game, but from then on bore our way to the title, winning 13 games (three of those by a margin of more than one goal) and losing only once.

Premier division: 1st
p18 w13 d3 l2 gf30 ga17 pts42

Upper league cup: out in groups
Icelandic cup: out in qtr final
Intertoto cup: 1st round - won 2:1 on agg. against Jedinstvo of Montenegro
2nd round - lost 3:5 on agg. against Ercyiespor of Turkey

Player of the year: towering D C

Get lost you! You don't belong here, so pack your bags and leave.
A decent start to a thread which is ruined by a Spawn of Satan

Otherwise;
Endtime- KUTGW!

This "great market awareness" seems to be a bit lucky if played the LLM way.

KUTGBottomToTopW! I don't think I'll be trying Iceland for a few years if it is only two levels, but you've done well rising from unremarkable 7th's to champions.
