Default Going down Ganders Green Lane

I was sent to manage Sutton United by Frank. This is my first time doing LLM, so here we go!!

Season 1 - 2006/07 - Sutton United - Conference South

I started off with an average squad and was expected to finish 1st. I brought in 12 new players and got rid of 8 and after a very good season I won the title with 6 games to go. My two loanee strikers got 30-odd goals a piece. I signed a youth coach because I didn't have one and I wanted one coach to concentrate on the youth for the future. I moved as many of my players as possible to full-time contracts. I had a remarkable FA Cup run, reaching the 3rd Round proper of the cup, so that helped me become rather rich for a club of this stature.

Media Prediction: 1st
Final Position 1st

P42 W26 D10 L6 F80 A35 GD+45 Pts 88

Top Scorer: On-loan 18 year old ST (28 goals)
Player of the Year: Same player (28 goals, 12 assists, 7.46 av rating)
Players in: 9 (23k) + 4 (on loan)
Players out: 7 (0k) + 1 (3k)

FA Cup: 3rd Round vs. Sheffield United (4-0)
FA Trophy: 3rd Round vs. Stevenage (2-1)

Season 2 - 2007/08 - Sutton United - Conference National

With my team being newly-promoted, I (and the media and board) expected us to finish mid-table. However, during the season I found that I was always hanging around in the top 6 after making some inspired signings and an amazing loanee striker, who I eventually bought in January. However, after 8 wins and a draw in the last nine games won me the title on the last day of the season on goal difference, scoring an impressive 98 goals. I also reached the 3rd Round proper in the FA Cup again, after scoring shock wins against Stockport and Shrewsbury in the first and second round respectively

Media Prediction: 13th
Final Position: 1st

P46 W28 D7 L11 F98 A50 GD+48 Pts 91

Top Scorer: 20 year old Danish/Morrocan striker (36 goals; 7.51 av rating)
Top Player: On loan 19 year old winger (7.67 rating)
Players in: 11 (31k) + 5 (on loan)
Players out: 9 (0k)

FA Cup: 3rd Round vs. West Ham (6-0)
FA Trophy: 2nd Round vs. Barnet (2-1)

Season 3 - 2008/09 - Sutton United - League Two

I always thought that it was going to be a hard season after 2 promotions on the trot and to start it was. I could only make one loan signing but I did strengthen the squad in the defence and midfield. As soon as I started the season, I got a lot of injures and my chairman sold my star goalkeeper even though we didn't really need the money. I was always in mid-table for most of the season with many teams vying for promotion and after losing four in a row, I changed the tactics and my team dug their heels and produced an eight game unbeaten run, and on the last day of the season, with 12 teams going for 2 play-off places remaining, with my team being odds-on favourites to miss out, I managed to win 4-0 and come 6th. In the play-offs, I played Leyton Orient in the semi-finals and won the first leg (at home) 3-0. In the 2nd leg I went 2-0 down after 15 minutes but in the 67th and 90th minutes we scored and the final score was 5-2 (agg). I met Chesterfield in the final at Wembley and in front of a crowd of 19,926 Chesterfield went in front in the 2nd minutes. However Sutton Utd got their act together and scored 3 sensational goals and we won the game 3-1. I therefore got promoted (3rd in 3 seasons) to League 1. I reached the 5th Round of the FA Cup miraculously.

Media Prediction: 23rd
Final Positon: 6th (Promoted)

P46 W18 D12 L16 F66 A65 GD+1 Pts 66

Top Goalscorer: On loan 19 year old striker (23 goals)
Player of the Year: Same man (23 goals, 16 assists, 7.41 av rating)
Players in: 10 (275k) + 2 (on loan)
Players out: 6 (375k) + 3 (on loan)

FA Cup:

1st Round: Grays 0-0
1st Round Replay: Grays 0p-0
2nd Round: Workington 5-0
3rd Round: Walsall 2-1
4th Round: Southend 1-0
5th Round: Arsenal 1-3

League Cup: 1st Round vs. Fulham
Johnstone's Paint Trophy: 2nd Round vs. Notts County 1-1p

Here we come League 1!!

I think the fact he's posted in the editor's hideaway says all we need to know.

I'm very suspicious of this save. I'll leave it open for now. Don't have much faith in it though.

I don't think he's LLM at all. He can't possibly have played three seasons in the six hours between his last visit to the Spawn forum and posting this in here. It's that or I'm an incredibly slow player, taking 20+ hours per season.
