I was simply using him as a real life player who is getting way too much at that level IN REAL LIFE. Nothign to do with FM. It was an example irl and not FM.
I havent said he is should be signed and his positions are wrong on FM 07 anyway. Most of the data at that level is wrong on FM 07, the problem is that most LLM don't know the level of football in real life and just play the game thinking they can win a league by signing people they have never heard of and buy good FM players thinking they most be good irl well they really aren't.

No player naming at all in this forum. |

NO PLAYER NAMING
From this forum's Rules and guidelines:
"The reason behind this rule is locally known as The Floodgate Scenario. Lower League Managers rely almost exclusively on their Scouts to find players to grace their squad, they don't want to see names of players found by other Managers in posts on LLM.
New arrivals to LLM have in the past seen the names of regens or famous current players in posts and have decided that it's okay to post "Buy Player X, he's a great goalie" or "Player Z will net 140 goals a season" which will spoil the game for others.
Name one player and it opens the floodgates for dozens of others."

Im trying to improve FM 08 at the lower league levels, if I can't put an opinion in and have a back-up claim? However I wont mention player names again (even though it wasnt giving an advantage.) I want to help improve it not people having ago, one person points it out and another has ago. Only one person needs to state it. Plus I think most LLM no nothing of football at this level.
By the way for all of you out there sign James Richards, class (40 goals a season)

I rest my point, that Lower League Managers know nothing of Lower League Football.
Another Bloke is not even on the game, I just made him up, to SEE if anyone knew football of this level.
As surely you would of heard of him irl but all well.
[Edit] - I don't care if it's a fictional name or not (LFCfan)

I have no interest in anyone you name, whether real or imaginary, my comment referred to the fact that you have obviously still not read the forum header, nor the rules or guidelines for this forum.
I don't give a toss whether or not you are trying to improve the game with regard to lower league footballers. If you post in this forum, you should abide by the rules.

It's a shame that what could have been a decent discussion has turned into a bitching session. The player naming here is hardly going to ruin anything in the game. Laskowski contributes loads to the non-league research data and your playing experience.

At the end of the day, its a shame has I wanted to know other people's opinion on Lower League, as I thought Lower League Managers might care about there level of gameplay but if you do't give a toss, won't strive for improvements. Its turned into a slanging match, which tbh its a debacle as I needed to mention the huge differences. As if I hadnt mentioned his name, half of you wouldn't know who I was talking about, when you should do, just a shame and my LLM opinions and respect of LLM has greatly changed in half an hour.

| 1.) Did you even read the posts above? The "No Player Naming Rule" also includes regens due to the floodgate scenario. There is no difference between a fictitious name (regen) and a fictitious name (made up).
2.) It's "would have", not "would of". Please post in English, according to the house rules.
3.) Lower League Management is not about whether Moby Dick earns 700 or 650 or 150 IRL and not in the game. Like stated before by several people, it's a game.
4.) Going into a forum and ****ing off people by intentionally violating the forum rules is a sign of immaturity and stupidity. Think about it.
