Before my update, I have some questions, perhaps you UK guys have some answers for me?
The information screen of my Newport County team says the club is founded in 1989. But, the history screen displays results from before that year. The club seems to have won the Welsh Football League Division 1 in 1974 and 1979 and won the Welsh Cup in 1980. How can one club play in the Welsh league, and after some time play in de English league? Because my information also says that the club was somehow 3rd placed in the English League Two in 1980. How can a club play in the English league 2 and win the Welsh cup in the same year? And again, how can the club be founded in 1989 if there are results from before that year?
Besides that, I have found some info about the FAW Premier Cup that it concerns Welsh clubs in the English leagues. Do you guys have some info info me how that works? There is a Welsh league, but there are Welsh teams playing in the English leagues. As someone from outsite the UK I have no idea how this works. Perhaps you guys can clear it out for me.
Thanks in advance. Now, the results of the first 3 seasons with Newport County (LLM style of course):

Comment: We started off the season battling for the play-off places, but a bad run at the end of the season made us finish where we finished last year.
First. Newport County were formed at the beginning of the last century, went bust in 1989 and were reformed that same year.
Welsh teams play in the English Leagues as, when the English Leagues were formed, it was financially and reputation beneficial for some to play in the English Leagues.
The Welsh Cup, before 1995, was played by Welsh teams, even playing in England, though English based Clubs couldn't represent Wales in the European Cup Winners Cup.
After 1995 only Welsh League Clubs could compete in the Welsh Cup.
My first ever game was Newport County v Plymouth at Somerton Park when I was about 7. Newport won 4-0, I think. My last game of Junior Football was also at Somerton Park in a cup final, which we lost
Newport County were stiffed by the Nazis. They got promoted to the 2nd tier of Enlgish Football just before the war, and by the time competitive football returned to the country they were left with a **** team and got relegated the next season.
They got wound up in 89, reformed and played in Gloucester, (hence the nickname "The Exiles") before eventually returning to Newport, at Spytty Park (played there too).

Thats wrong because a host of welsh clubs reached the cup winners cup quater finals, including newport circa 1980, it's just after 1995 UEFA told the welsh clubs that if they played in england they couldn't represent wales in europe

I think he's referring to "My first game..." Which is asurd. For one, surely he's not in the game, and secondly he never used his name, and though we know something about who he is, I'm sure we would have a relatively hard time finding him on the game, anyway. "I" is a pro-noun. Not a name.
