I've had two re-starts with 2008, I know not really LLM but it was due to the patches I choose to restart rather than bad performances so hopefully you'll let that slide

Each of the three games I've had I've done really well in the first season, not made promotion but done a lot better than the fans/board/bookies predictions. Then in the next two/three seasons I've not preformed so well.

Has anyone else had this before?

I'm not sure this post is valid in the LLM forum but it's just something I've noticed within my games.

Anywho... usually the opposite with me. First season I'm trying to get a half-decent team together and they need to gel. The next few seasons we often do better, and start fighting for those promotion/play-off spots.

I've had that issue once or twice before, Grill. It could be anything, to be honest. Maybe your opposition have become used to your tactics and have learned how to play against you. Just a suggestion, as I've otherwise no idea.

So let's recap', you had a couple of decent seasons then you had a couple of poor ones.

It might stretch your credibility a wee bit but I have this feeling that happens quite a lot with most football clubs.

I'll go further, there isn't a football club in existance that doesn't experience this phenomena

Yeh too many long nights on FML where each season lasts 28 days and surprisingly are both good and bad.
