Why can't you buy certain players from abroard, and why do some of them not even exist?
e.g Anthony Vanden Borre, Sherman Andres Cardenas etc.

Could this possibly be something to consider on the next game, or can't the UMD hold enough information

There's only a certain amount of room on the UMD, that limits the amount of players available.

The FMH team are trying to improve the compression amount so that the database can be larger next time.

UMDs hold 1.8GB. FMH07 uses barely a fraction of that. I think it has more to do with the PSPSs power rather than the media capacity

yeah that's what i thought at first, the umd is huge and the game itself is only around 40-50mb, but i read somewhere that it is loaded to psp memory and umd is never accessed again. so i guess they can load a huge database, which is a bit of a shame, but hey the game is awsome as it is anyway.

A UMD has a load of space - however a PSP only has 32Mb of memory of which around 23Mb is available for the game (the rest is taken up by O/S level stuff).

This means we have to compress things fairly tightly to get them onto the PSP - each version we look at improving this side of things and squeezing a little more onto the device, next year will be no exception

and some people have custom firmwares which leaves even less space...
