I think it's good for us, but definately not worth the price tag. especially when he wanted to leave spurs anyway because they wouldn't pay him more than 40,000

anyway, since this thread is also for speculation, Vieira has implied that he's like to join man united. I hate the nobber, but i hope we get him on a free, or a ridiculously low price...a partnership with carrick or park would be brilliant.

I also rate Carrick very highly. Two good feet and a great passer of the ball. His performance will improve by joining Manchester United. At 25 years of age, he's only gonna get better!

9.5 million euros. not too bad, considering vieira obviously doesn't want to play in serie b...I hope man utd swoop in with 10.5 or something and steal him. i know it won't happen, but our midfield problems would be solved if he came.

Man utd supposedly have bid 16m euroson Dirk Kuyt. not too bad of a price for him tbh. If this is indeed true,then i don't see his club refusing.

personally...i don't find him great at finishing and it feels like we'll have 3 rooney-type players(rooney,rossi,and kuyt...not including scholes) and no first striker other than saha, who will probably get injured too soon.

edit: lol, i forgot to mention dirk kuyt in the original post...thus not making any kind of sense
