Anyone watching the Chelsea v. United match today knows whats happened, but no one knows if he'll make the World Cup. He was carried off on a stretcher appearing to be in absolute agony, fortunate enough though he was able to leave Stamford Bridge on crutches. He is having a scan tomorrow morning and to be honest I'm fearing the worst.

Well, having watched the challenge closely, i can say that it wasnt ferrera's fault. It was a clean tackle from him. This does look disturbing to england's chances though.
That could be bad news for englands world cup chances, all i can hope for is that it isnt going to be as bad as it looked, and my fingers are crossed that if owen plays some part in newcastles game today, he doesnt aggrevate his injury or we are in deep s**t for the world cup finals.
yea... you can't blame the chelsea defender, it was a perfectly timed tackle, and he didn't go in hard at all, rooneys foot... seemd to get caught up, and the pain immediately on his face leads you to think it serious... although,

Some would say that rooney is over-rated in terms of how much he means to england, but i wouldnt. Rooney just the complete striker and a the key for englands sucess, i hope to god the guy is aiight for the world cup!
