im man utd have been since the start of the game. all star players are gone and every team in the premier league is fll of them aswell.. my question is after winning trophies each year with the star players i had and now with regens its seems a lot harder to be succesful. so has anyone experienced this and just fell away when you just had regens left
I'm in 2018 so a little way to go yet, but have plenty of regens in my current Cardiff side that is dominating the Premier League and Champions League.
Yeh, it seems a lot more common for people to do well once the real players die out and the regens come in.
Although, perhaps when you don't have all the players you've heard of it makes it harder for you because you don't immediately know what type of player they are.
e.g. You know the type player that Rooney and co. all are so it's easier to work with. Once they all start to retire, you find it harder to judge strengths and weaknesses of the regens.
lol I'm in 2020 with ManU, plenty of good regens but I find that I have to buy players that's at least 23 y.o. or they just don't look good enough.
One thing is that it's really really hard to replace Rooney, who was a permanent first team member til he was about 32. He's able to consistently score goals. Right now I have about 4 good regen strikers but just no one could really fill Rooney's void.
im in 2015, and i am well prepared i have regens available for every position ;-) either on loan or in my first team as backup with enormous potential 179+
