Dunno if this has been covered before or not but shoot me if i don't feel like trawling through pages of complaints about transfers and shot/goal ratios/

1) I score far more goals with a defensive mentality than any other. I guess this is in response to the other teams tactics as well but it seems much more effective. Anyone else noticed this??

2) David Prutton (yes im trying the leeds challenge) is a dirty sod. He's ammassed 12 yellows and 2 reds after 29 games. Who's the dirtiest player you've encountered??

On dirty players: I've noticed that some of my midfielders pick up loads of cards even though their aggression is <10 and their tackling is OK (~11-14).

Is this down to the lack of space on the pitch? IRL Paul Scholes picks up cards because he never learned to tackle properly, but he's not a dirty player at all. Do others see this behaviour?

There are hidden attributes regulating dirtiness. In FM07 I found that a lot of S. American regens seems to be filthy - bit of a stereotype really.

Yeah on your second point he is filthy. I got rid in the end which is a shame cause his average was quite good. Although replaced him with Simon Walton who was worse, sent off on debut after about 10 minutes, then sent off again in his comeback game.

Ahhh...clever boy. I never considered the lack of space to be a factor (it may or may not be) but i play with the smallest possible pitch and very narrow so your theory would tie in nicely with that.

Did you ever see that pic of paul scholes attempting to tackle someone (chelsea or coventry perhaps??) and his tiny orange nob is hanging out??
