Which one is more important? I'm confused now because some players with very high potential and CA have lower stats than players with low PA and CA.

Do the stats mean everything? How does the potential come into hand

The player in my first team with the worst stats is one of the best performers.

There are loads of factors influencing performance ratings, not just the CA/PA stats.

You might be playing a player out of position, or with individual settings that don't suit him (e.g. a poor tackler with high aggression set to Hard tackling, causing lots of cards, which affects his performance rating).

Things like determination and professionalism also come into play. Injury prone players will have lower stats if they repeatedly come back from injury.

Morale also plays a role, so if your high CA/PA player has poor morale, his performance will suffer.

And so on...

that would explain why Myles Weston, in my Notts County team, who has sod all stats(7 for dribbling and he's a winger???)is so good. Then again, his pace is 19, so he just blazes past everyone. Meet the new Ryan Giggs ladies and gentlemen(funnily enough his favourite personnel is Cristiano Ronaldo, although his dribbling leaves much to be desired)
but highest assists in the League 1 + Player of the Month + Highest Average rating must mean something, eh?
