I ain't too clear on work permits but do Croatian players really need work permits? I'm Wolves and trying to get Marko Maric, some defensive midfielder, he's uncapped but i thought since Croatia's part of Europe, he doesn't need any work permit, but his move just got cancelled due to no work permit. Can someone help me here?
yeah,Croatian players DO need work permit.I think its because Croatia is not a member of EU,if Im not mistaken.Only players from an EU contries do not need work permit if they are going to play in an EU country.for example,Turkey is not a European country but they are a member of EU,so you wont need a work permit for players from Turkey (if Im not mistaken).
or is England so sore at losing to Croatia that they refuse the work permit on the grounds of their loss?(just kidding)
Anyway i found out Croatia is only a 'Candidate Country' of the European Union. anyone have an idea what that means?
