'Oh my god, an opponant just had 41 shots against me even though I was playing completely defensive. Now I'm going to throw my toys out the pram, never play the game again and go and rant about it to some strangers'.

Grow up will you, it's a game for gods sake.

100% tackles won ? WOW

You need to grow up, after all 41 shots are not that many ,basketball team tries in a game around 35-50 shoots so this is very realistic.

I get what your saying boneshaker,for any team to have 41 shots in a game is just totally unrealistic,and then to only score 1 goal from that many shots is just stupid!

Ive played every single cm/fm game,and this is the most dissappointing game to date.Its nothing to do with tactics,the game just isnt up to standard,it feels to me that you dont have any control over the games you play,you really are just watching them.Since buying this version of the game ive hardly played it,25 games with my Oxford team,when i didnt lose a single game,and also wasnt even tested in any game,and 7 games with Weymouth after the patch,the game is just wrong and not realistic,as the others were.

There is no enjoyment in this game what so ever,ive just had 3 days off and havnt even played the game once,fm07 was far better.

The amount of times I have won a game with suspicious last minutes goals from corners, free kicks and hoofs forward means that when it happens to me, I am pretty much okay with it these days.

I have seen matches like the one highlighted in real life, imagine you were the Valencia manager, you;d have been going radio rental at not scoring, right? So I wouldnt be that gutted to lose, just rant about how you are shocked at the way their manager conducted himself, rant to the media about your worst player then move to next week.

I am glad they made FM harder. No more resting on the laurels, you do have to battle both luck and skill now to get to where you want to be, I am happy with that.

also mate, have you found stevie g to be quite poor this year? no matter where i play the twit he's lucky if he gets a 7, his average last year was around 6.73, and this year i think he's about 6.85. just not like him, he misses way too many long shots and he doesn't take control of the game enough if we're in a jam like irl.

Gerrards issue is that he is being punished for long shots. He plays well, just doesn't score well. Frankly his football is more important than his poxy score.

As for the defenders getting red cards - rubbish. I've not had a defender off yet. midfielders, yes, but I've sorted that.

Right. But that is an absurd comparison. The court in basketball about half the size of a football pitch, the pace of a basketball game is twice as fast as a football game. There are 12 less players on the court than in football.

and the same thing is happening to me, 20 or show shots for 1/2 goals and opposition scores off 3 shots due to defensive error usually. Only after patch installed though, so I'm gonna have to work out new tactics.

I only bought the game a week ago when I saw it was going for 15 snots, for 15 snots I thought, "I'll take chance".

But from what I've read in many other posts and forums and reviews of the game I'm not the only one saying so. The match engine is SERIOUSLY flawed. The shots per goals ratio is staggeringly inacurate. The game is just a mess. This really is a substandard release and I, for one, am a very unhappy customer.

You know sometimes I think,maybe FM07's match engine is too good to have a change so they built a completely new match engine in FM08,explained so many bugs that never happened before.
