I'm not sure if there's a bug or two involved in this tale, but I was wondering if anyone else has had similar problems?

Qulified for the Euro Vase with Reading in the first season, then ten games into the second we've hit a funny situation.

Games against the big four, away to some other big teams and we've found ourselves three games behind in the league and floating in the bottom third, but having got hard games out of the way.

However we've rinsed the UEFA and two games in are top having beaten Parma and a Turkish side. We're also through to the last eight of the league cup.

...But everyone's concerned we're underperforming and morale has gone to hell. There was a note about how a striker hadn't scored in the league for X hours of games, but he put two in the net against an Italian team? Not the league I know, but how can it concern him going to Ipswich when he's doing so well in cups?

I'm also slightly concerned that the team's morale is low, but when we play a cup or UEFA game they perk up to supurb, only to seem to forget the cup result the following day.

It seems like they're completely unrellated, there of course should be some kind of cross over and teams on a bad league run should perk up for the cup if they've done well in it, but how the hell can the team go to Ewood park fearing Blackburn when they went to Italy three days before hand and completely dominated?

Something I noticed that may be related is that the match overview only takes the competition you about to play in into consideration. I had lost a couple in a row in league, but then won a cup game and the paint trophy game as big dogs on the road. The game said I have been terrible on the road lately and I wouldn't win.

I just won 2 road games as huge underdogs! The game had obviously only taken league play into account when making it's predictions.
