Not knocking the skin but i personally dislike skins with no menu backgrounds and never understood why people rave about them.

Ever thought about sticking in some backgrounds on the menus that are just block colour and a block colour background and releasing it like that?

2. I'm going to look into the issue with the 1.. showing when "show effects of training" is selected. Does it work properly for the default skin and it only shows 1.. when you switch to the Hellenic skin? Can you guys test it out?

I'm tainted in how I look at skins being a skinner myself. I always think how long it'll have taken the skinner to make, look for the clever minor details etc, inventive use of graphics and xml. It does take a lot to impress me . That's why I'm never really a fan of the 'less is more' thing. I do actually agree with you though, Flexion is a bit busy for my tastes and the skin is far calmer looking so will be popular. I think it's very possible to make something calm and easy on the eye whilst being creative and original though - look at some of anderssons's work.

I suppose I was just expecting something of an evolution in terms of design and quality. the FM05 skin was a basic recolour but the FM 06 skin tried something different with the nice looking silver/metal titlebar.

Not sure really but I think some nice rounded buttons or something like that would be better than using the default ones

I meant the ones that appear on the left normally - like the league logo when you look at the club. It's no biggie but it'd be nice to see them somewhere.

It is very possible. You can get away with ahving a titlebar of 60-65px high. All that happens is that the top and bottom of the bowtie background logos get cut off (if you have the right layering order). It just looks like a regular straight logo. Any bigger it starts to show the curve though. Whilst this can cause some problems becasue the logos are 75 high, with a bit of though the logos could be sited elsewhere (or overlapping like in the'inverno' skin WIP).

Whilst it is a shame to lose them bacground logos - I don't think it's a major issue to not have them (like in 'goal'). Certainly, it's a shame to stick with the bowtie effect just so they fit.

Keep up the skinning though mate - I'm sure this'll suit thousands of people :thup:
