im gonna swap LA Galaxy with a prem team once the new weegie update is released.. how will the cup competitions work will they automatically be swapped aswell?

Would LA Galaxy still be part of the MLS Superdraft?

I have just done something similar to this I put all the MLS teams in the englsih leages and swapped them with the english teams.

I have played a season so far and it all works fine the MLS teams have taken on the english league structure and the englsish teams the MLS

You wanna put a crap american "soccer" team in the english premierleague.

That simply for the fact that they have signed a 32 year old beckham.

cups and stuff will be changed unless you still tell them their nationality is american or something. But yeah.. You do realise that LA Galaxy won't last half a season in the championship let alone the prem right? They'd get relegated to Conference quite quickly (unless Beckham somehow manages to keep them in league one, which I doubt, he's only one man)

But yeah, it works well. LA Galaxy will participate in the FA and Carling instead of the MLS cups though. Just so you know.
