The Championship thing is utter bullshit, the lady on news night knows fuck all about football. The other guy defended us and hit out at her "Forgive me Kirsty, but you don't seem to know much about football - I know you're trying..."

tbh its a load of crap. we havent broken any premier league rules so nothing can happen to us domestically, premier league rules dictate that you cant control any league club in england but nothing about foreign clubs.

i dont get how fifa can possibly investigate us for a contrast of interests when roman abramovich practically owns cska, and they came up against chelski in the champions league.

anyway double d has been voted out of the fa board with david gill replacing him.

ANKARA, Turkey (AP) -England and Arsenal defender Sol Campbell is considering an offer to move to Istanbul team Fenerbahce and will make a decision after the World Cup, according to a report published Wednesday.

"The likelihood that I will go to Fenerbahce is higher than the likelihood that I won't,'' Turkey's Vatan newspaper quoted Campbell as saying.

Campbell spoke with Vatan at England's World Cup base near Baden-Baden, a spa town in southern Germany, the paper said.

Campbell said Fenerbahce were "seriously interested'' in him and had made a very good offer. However, he stressed the World Cup was his number one priority for the time being.

"Playing for Fenerbahce could be interesting for me,'' the paper quoted him as saying. "But first we have to return to England with victory. That's all I want for now.''
So it looks like he's going to Fenerbache eventually.

Despite van den Berg having also had the option to sign a deal with the Frisian club he has set his heart on a switch to the UEFA Champions League finalists.

The former Feyenoord prospect is ready to sign a deal and will no doubt hope to follow in the footsteps of ex-de Kuip star Robin van Persie at Arsenal.

Van den Berg, who left Feyenoord's Academy to join Heerenveen two years ago, has caught the eye after representing his country at youth team level.

The exciting prospect was a member of the Dutch side who achieved a third-placed finish in the Fifa Under-17 World Championships in Peru last October.
Who? Sounds impressive.
