Thats all whack. Real Madrid elections taking place so the candidates are making up bullshit. Quote:
Arsenal starlet Cesc Fabregas has spoken of his sadness at Spain's early exit from the World Cup and has reiterated his desire to stay at Highbury.
Fabregas made three appearances for his country in Germany and particularly caught the eye in the 3-1 win over Tunisia.
However, like his team-mates, he was left shattered after Luis Aragones' side slipped to an unexpected 3-1 defeat to France in the second round, and yet another premature exit from a major tournament.
"It is very hard to return home after being eliminated," he told Sky Sports News.
"We have a sad feeling of having had a good tournament but leaving far too early."
During his time in Germany, the 19-year-old found himself involuntarily drawn into further transfer speculation regarding his future.
His name was linked with the Real Madrid presidential candidates and one, Ramon Calderon, has now publicly claimed he has reached an agreement with the youngster's agent over a potential move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Calderon insists he has a deal in place with the player's representative Joseba Diaz and is confident Cesc will agree to join Real should he emerge triumphant in the elections on Sunday night.
"A deal has been closed," Calderon told a news conference on Thursday.
"We can't reach an agreement with Arsenal because we do not represent Real Madrid yet, but if we win I am sure he will come."
However, the youngster has once again brushed off claims he could depart Highbury, insisting he is happy and settled at Arsenal and is not interested in a move back to his native Spain.
"I can't do anything about it [the speculation], obviously my name came out every day and they involved me [in the elections campaign]," he told Catalan daily Sport.
"However, I was only thinking about the World Cup.
"I am an Arsenal player right now and I am very happy and at ease there. I don't need anything else.
"I am very happy with how things are going."
| His contract runs out in 2010.....

Chelsea dont let thier big players go to other english clubs.
They'll get Cole, it's obvious really. He has that kind of loyalty for Chelsea so he can f*ck off |

I just realised. With Campbell gone, Cole soon to be going and Walcott warming the bench...is there actually going to be any English players playing for your club next season? What a joke.

Yeah there is English players.
We have Walcott, Gilbert (i know he's on loan but he's English), as is Ryan Smith, Hoyte and Traore.
They are loads of English Players in the Reserve/Youth set up. Just cause they dont play in the first team doesnt mean we're extinct of English talent. Geez
