I used to have FM07 and it worke very well and quick.

Just pushed run for the 7.02 patch and it says 2 hours......??? tis used to take 15 mins.

I have a laptop - duel processor - year old? I had a problem installing the game - It wouldn't autorun and that took a while.

Check for things running in the background such as CPU. Defrag your hard drive. If you are installing fresh, the installer uses java so make sure you have latest version
