ello ello ello...Your probably in here because your having problems with FM08...well im not going to pretend this is some miracle tactic but i've done my best and its damn well effective...here we go:

Tactical Formation
4-4-2 Diamond with farrows on wingers and AMC. Barrows on the entire back 4

Style of play
It is slightly attacking with counter attackign switched on. It in truth i though it would grind out results but if a team comes attacking at me such as milan, i win 4-1 through pure counter attacking. Then, if i play teams like Genoa, we still win with the commentary often saying "(insert name) capped a wonderful Fiorentina move!"

Team Instructions
Slow and short passing may create less chances but I can assure you they are of a better quality. This was tested extensive thus why it says version 6.25 on the tactic.

I leave the defensive line as it is because in previoUS versions, when it was deep i let in far too many long hots and when it was high up i thought i would get heart attacks the amount of disallowed goals

Time wasting and tackling are also left in the middle.



Individual Instructions
I simply set each position in set as. However, one of my strikers I put forward runs on often and for the other through balls on often.

Other than that, pretty basic

Tweaks

When i need to hold a lead i usaully employ another DMC and take off a striker. Same if a player gets sent off. If i need to score in last 10 mins move the wingers into AMR & AML. Also short and slow becomes direct and quick. I usually score but as expected it runs a risk of your opponents counter attacking yourself.

When playing away i usually take off the AMC farrow and tone down the attacking mentality by one click on the slider

Player Attributes
You need quick strikers with good finishing and compusure as the chances may be reduced as its not quick so you need to take every one you get. Also, you want even your fullbacks to have decent creativity and stamina as they often overlap the wingers. A good goalkeeper is also needed, not because of the tactic, but i think because a lot of free kicks are conceded int hsi version of FM. You need to have decent heading throughout your team because i score countless headers from set pieces which has saved me blushes and even won me points i didnt deserve. Also, even though the AMC will not be set as playmaker, he MUST have playmaker attributes. I cannot stress that enough, if he does not then the attackign side of the tactic will fall apart.

Track Record
Tested for 1 season with zaragoza (3rd) and currently in the process with fiorentina (4th but 3 points separating top 5)

Sorry, I didn't want to sound too harsh. You've certainly put a great deal of time and hard work in it.

As I mentioned earlier, it does not work for my Arsenal team. Even though I have a top-class AMC (Van der Vaart) and most of my players have four (if not five) stars, I always felt as though the team was underachieving.

I played some games and in every game the attacking side of the tactic fell apart. Why, I don't know. My team couldn't retain possession and conceded a number of goals. No serious counterattack whatsoever!

I hope that you could refine your tactic and make it the best one out there. :thup:

Tested after an hour? How many games did you play?

Should at least try it for a season, not for 5 games.

Right you are! I played some games (3-4) with this tactic, then went on holiday and set my assistant manager to use this tactic for 2 months. Unfortunately, no luck with this one so far... Maybe I should have played more games before posting but there's something rotten in the state of Denmark.
