So, I finally put down 07 and moved onto 08.

I thought I could cheat and use my old RoO tactics that worked so well in 07 and I am glad that the people at SI made more than just aesthetic changes.

As some of you may know, using RoO gives you the shots on goal, but what was really missing is the sexy football. There was 40% possession, 50% pass completion; it was downright horrid. This 4-2-3-1 is going to bring it all back. Flowing, possession football and almost Barca-esque

So, I decided to read up on the old tactics and made some minor adjustments. I just played a few friendlies and I would like some feedback if this works in LLM or with other teams.

So far in these games I average mid 70% pass completion and high 50% possession.

I've never had to shut up shop or anything; so far it's been fire and forget

The later revisions often produced 60% possession and high 70% pass completion. Did you read the Play FM thread? If not, I suggest you have a looksee

Playing narrow actually tightens up defensively pretty well with my villa team I think it gives more room to my wingers young and renato augusto. The tactic looks good.

The screenshots look very good, and any tactic that can produce some majestic free flowing football will be welcomed by many football purists.

The one thing I would ask is, have you tested the tactics in competitive games yet? It's just your screens show only friendlies and friendly results aren't really too indicative in my opinion.

Well I had the chance to play a few more games but I know this could use more refining. I may have to throw in better individual instructions

3 things I need to work on:

1. Get Mancini, Taddei and Totti not firing into the side netting
2. Make Silvestre and Andreolli not giving the ball to their striker under pressure.
3. Prevent Melt-Doni(s)
