Firstly may I congratulate you on creating a fast fluid tactic.
My Liverpool team is unbeaten in 15 using it. Before the patch
I wasn’t having any problems with the game. I had won the league and champ league with Liverpool. But after downloading the patch and starting a new game, as I always do, just couldn’t defend. Strikers just ghosting in-between my fullbacks and cental defenders as if they where invisible. Any way back to your tactic, I have one question, why do you tell your amc and one of your forwards to both hold up the ball and run with the ball?

The AMC is the player that mainly creates the chances.

Since my AMC is Elias with good creativity, pace and strength I put him on a free role with hold up ball and forward runs. Holding up the ball puts the wingers into play if the AMC recieves the ball at the center of the field.
Putting him on forward runs sort of makes him a 3rd striker.

The Striker with good heading and jumping with hold up ball will usually deal with the high balls and he can choose to hold up the ball when the wingers and AMC are making forward runs.

i downloaded the tactic on one comp, burned it to a cd and put it on my other comp. i put it in the tactics folder but it doesnt show up, i started a new game and everything. i looked at it and it seems that it just shows up as a "file" rather than a "TAC file". anybody have any idea how to fix this or what i did wrong?

nm, did the exact same thing and this time it came out as a .tac file, looks good

i can see your point yang, and i agree it works well. i have been tempted to drop the amc back to mc with the same instructions, what do you think? i just think that against better teams , the amc means theyre are too many players ahead of the ball

Congratulations this is the first tactic where i do not get pasted all the time. i beat spurs 4-0 away, drew with boro 0-0 beat derby 1-0 beat wigan 3-0 but got pasted agaisnt villa 5-1 and chelsea 6-0. By the way i was leeds

I think that at home this tactic is very good as the stikers, wingers and attacking midefielder all link up well and create chances on both sides of the pitch for both strikers.

Away however it is one of the worst I have seen defensively that is. Although it scores a lot I constantly let in as many goals as I score, my full backs constantly get caught out of position leaving wingers to freely cross the ball to strikers who always seem to get behind a defender who is to far forward for an easy tap in.

I think at home it is one of the best I have seen if not the best and it makes your team play like Barca but away you might need to make changes.

I think the strength of this tactic is the way that it heavily outnumbers the opposition in their own half of the field with players moving into space when they aren't near the ball and getting stuck in when they are close to an opposition player who has the ball. However I think that in away matches when the opposition is willing to commit more men forward it's weaknesses are exposed.

Has anybody else playing as Liverpool with this tactic found this in away matches?

yep, liverpool beat me 4-0 at anfield, i had more shots, but they had the better chances i suppose..........they are the only team to beat me with this tactic tho, oh and boro 2-1 away.

Currently this tactic is working better away for me than at home. I am keeping loads of clean sheets. As mentioned before I have made some changes to my defensive instructions but not many.

I am still tweaking little bits as I go along but currently we have lost a single game at home 1-0 and are top of the Championship by 8 points. I think our record is W13 D2 L1 F32 A8.

Those struggling away should lower the cf 3 or 4 clicks on the full backs, raise the cf on the cbs by 2 or 3. Change forward runs to mixed or rarely (fbs) and maybe add back arrows.

You MUST set up corners and throw-ins and setup the takers as they could be out of position otherwise.

One other thing to note is that I am in season 3 and this is the first season I have used this tactic. I do have a very pacey team and Kuqi is an excellent target man.
