Sick of losing to Arsenal all the time I gave this a go and I was quite impressed. However, it does remind me somewhat of Keegan's Newcastle.

Will have to adjust it away I think. Leaves too much room on the flanks. Juventus clawed back a 3 goal deficit, mainly from deep crosses.

Very impressed. I started using this tactic half way through my first season with Wigan. I finished 4th in the league behind Arsenal Chelsea and West Ham, keeping Man Utd and L'pool out of the Champions League!

Start of the second season, I have just qualified for Champions League, beating Galatasary home and away.

When we play the big sides - L'pool Man Utd etc I normally tell the press that we can win it if we play to our best. This seems to do the trick and fires some of the players up. Well done Yang.

Yeah i agree, well done Yang. :thup: It's definately made me think abit more about my tactics. I haven't completely followed his formation and tactics 100% but my results with Southampton have improved.

It also helps when Gareth Bale keeps scoring from 30 yards!! :p
