Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default lower league tactics

Just started with Salisbury City on FM08 and struggling to find a decent tactic. Started with basic 442.

Any advise appreciated.

People are a bit weird about giving advice for lower league managers in these parts. However, when my copy of FM08 is delivered (hopefully today!!!) i'm going to start a save with Worksop Town. If i find a cool tactic i'll let you know.

Yes I've found this to, shame there isn't a LLM area especially for tactics and training etc. In T&T it's mainly for big teams. In LLM the rules state no discussion of tactics and players etc. A new dedicated forum would be good but I don't think it will happen

Richard, try the Fiora2 tactic. Seems to work quite well with my Histon team, I've tweaked it a bit though.

Yeah. A lot of snobbery in my opinion. If anyone wants to start a forum where people can tip each other about LLM i'd become a loyal member

No way thats going to happen. LLM football is all about the challenge, and talking about tactics is not allowed.. incidentally cambridge is a conference side and I have already started discussions on that...so if you do a little look through the forum, I wouldn't have to go around closing threads like this!
