Have you guys actually thought about the possibility of giving the managers the chance to train the tactics in the match engine?

As i installed the patch, i'm wishing i could train my team in the pitch to see what works and what doesn't. Instead i'm losing games learning how the new engine works.

I don't think it's too realistic that i have to test my tactics while playing official games. I know there is pre-season and we can arrange friendlies, but i think this would be a nice addition, the ability to train with my team in the match engine during the week.

What you guys think?

Think it would be great if it wasn't just a fluff feature. I would think the greatest benefit of it would be testing set pieces, hard to tell what works and what doesn't via trial and error throughout a season whereas it would be fun to try corner after corner and tweak little things.

Yeah sounds lkek a great idea, hopefully one to be used in FM09

I think that idea has huge merit actually.
It would also help for looking at players on trial if you could use them in "training" situations and see how they go.

at first, SI have to make improvements in fm08 match engine as it seems much worse than the fm07. it is getting more unrealistic year by year.
