Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default How do you hold a lead?

Please help me.

Anyone got a good formation to hold a slender lead with 15mins left?

I've dropped over 20 points through conceding late goals and it's breaking me. Seriously.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

hold the lead with your hand and walk the dog slowly along your right hand side. dont tug the lead to hard as it may put a strain on your pet.

1. Get a DM going and 2 MCs in front. (no free roles)
2. Set your full backs to CB tactics.
3. Lower Closing Down across the board.
4. Set team mentality to ultra defensive.
5. Slow tempo/short passing.
6. Play wide if you can afford it. (opposition strikers not too pacey)
7. TIME WASTING.
8. Counter attack.

Dam you beat me to it

All jokes aside though, if i want to hold onto a lead i try to play narrow, deep and try to hit them on the break.

Hope this helps
