Loyalty - turn down job offers, deny speculation linking you with other jobs, accept requests from players to be put on the transfer list/taken off the list, don't offer them to other teams.
Hands-On Approach - arrange friendlies, and always take control of them. Always take control of your training schedules, and be vigilant in re-assigning players to the right schedule when they come back from loans. Always choose your team and tactics, and always take control of team talks, be they pre-game, mid-game, or end-game.
Though a word of advice-- these mental attributes are also a measure of tendencies, rather than simply virtuous attributes to be improved upon. Just as an example, a high domestic player bias means that, were you playing in an English league, you're silly enough to overpay for mediocre players when those from abroad would do a better job for less money.

How do I improve my own "MENTAL STAFF PROFILE" Attributes ... Post #3
Must take a look when I get home, but last time I looked at the end of season 1, I was 9 for the first two and 11 for the rest, so your stats don't look too bad. How many seasons are you into the game?

How do I improve my own "MENTAL STAFF PROFILE" Attributes ... Post #4
They do take a lot of time to go up. I've had continuous increases to Discipline and Financial Control, and I'm only up to 19s by the end of the 2011-2012 season. I've got a 4 for Domestic Player Bias, but like in my example before, I'm not silly enough to play in English leagues and buy English players
