Let me start by saying I posted in the LLM forum but didn't get a reply, so I decided to post here.
I have decided to play a LLM game and decided to play with Walsall mostly because they have my favourite club (Man Utd) as a affiliate. Ive signed a few players and managed to increase the value of the club to £1.1mill because of playing lots of friendlys against big clubs at home. Anyway here is my squad:
So what do you think? Should I make any improvements? I believe my defence is one of the best in the league. The Ass man says my midfield isn't very good so do you reccomend anyone?
You did get a relpy, it's just you didn't have the good grace to read the forum headers & rules before you posted your rubbish in the LLM forum so most people probably didn't bother based on the thread title & it's complete lack of LLM credentials.

I realise that now, I had never posted in the LLM forum before and I appoligise.
A fellow Walsall fan... i'm a season ticket holder myself and am also playing with the Saddlers. I'd steer clear of the LLM forums as they all take it too seriously. They play FM2008 but have never actually kicked a ball for real.
As for your team its not bad. I'm top of my league but to be honest have been alot more brutal with my squad than you. I got Simpson, Brandy and Martin in on loan form Man Utd as well as a chap from Portsmouth. I signed Jody Morris, Ray Parlour (rubbish), Matt Jansen, Mark Iuliano and Malcom Christie on frees at varying stages of the season. I'm now in January and have added Rebrosio (sp), Hoilland, Sohna and one or two others aswell. To be honest I have a large squad but am still under my budget. As a fan you want to keep certain players you like but as a manager you have to be ruthless. The likes of Roper, Butler, Dobson, Weston, Sonner, Hall, Wrack are not good enough for a push up the leagues (similar to real life!). I think because my team's players have decent reps they grind results out even when playing badly.
Basically, from the original squad i think the following are worth keeping...
For 1 Season - Ince, Boertian, Mooney (maybe), Sonko (best player in original squad)
For longer with view to improve - Fox, Gerrard
Youngsters to keep that look ok/good - Dann, Smith, Nicholls, Demontagnac, Deeney (maybe), Sansara
