Currently have Aguero upfront for Fiorentina, he's scoring about 20 goals a season and has a decent partnership with Saivet, who might i add is amazing.
Thing is, I've seen Aguero get 40+ goals a season from other peopless screenshots, what Instructions should i be using?
well i dont know how that beast only scores 20 goals... i have palacio+delgado and both have 20 goals each, in half a season. make him target men i make sure you have nice wingers with good crossing status
How many leagues/players are in your game/database? What formations are you playing?
I also read about these crazy stats about him and many other players (Henry???), but I can't seem to replicate this, even though I win most matches with 2, 3, 4 goals...

i know he's fast that's why i use those kind of players as target man, explanation:

passing style-long

close down-whoe pitch
time wasting mimxed

play offside
often through balls
with these instructions i'm always sending the ball to the back of the AI defense and since he's fast he will catch the ball before the defenders and will just have the keeper bo beat... if he isn't offside
I'm in the same situation as you mate, i wana know how to get the best out of him, currently he's not doing bad 11 goals and 7 assists in 17 app. but he can do well more then that. I play 4-2-3-1 with tevez and aguero rotating in the ACM and ST possistions with run onto ball set to the ST. He's com into a bit of form of late so it might just be that he's taking time settling in?
Player settings for him that i'm using are:
Full Attack
Much Creative Freedom - 17
Short Passing - 6/7
Runs Often
Run w/ball Often
Long Shots Mixed (if you find he's taking too many reduce to little)
Through Balls Mixed
Cross Ball Mixed
Play him attacking mid. Put free role, full creative freedom, mixed long shots, often for everything else. Thats what i do anyway and he just finished his first season with 44 goals in all competitions. And he's still only 19!!
