TOBW, are you the guy who posts on the Cardiff City messageboard? Anyway, I have Trabelsi and Kalla, Kalla is inconsitant and Trabelsi is pretty decent, although I struggle to keep a clean sheet no matter what defenders I play!

Purse was abysmal so I sold him, Johnson was too slow, Loovens is also inconsitant, i've signed Jonathan McKain, Brian McLean, Joe Keenan and Cristian Sarghi in an effort to tighten up my defence but i'm still letting goals in at will. I play zonal and I concede, I try man to man and my defenders aren't good enough to stick with their men, despite my defenders having better stats than the opposing strikers.

How have you conceded so few? Is it tactics? I try forcing players on their weaker foot, close down and tight mark slow players but it doesn't seem to make much difference? I defend deep and they lash in 30 yarders, I defend higher up and they slice me open with a through ball, then when I think i'm keeping it tight I concede from a set piece!

Suppose I should put this in the tactics section but if you can pass on your defensive expertise TOBW it would be much appreciated!

Morning Rossini - yes, got me in one!

As to why I was letting in so few goals, I'm not really sure - although, I do think that having a good defensive midfielder sat just in front of the back four doesn't do any harm at all in that respect. The fact that my team was scoring so few goals may indicate that I had my more attacking players concentrating on the defensive side of the game more than I should have done - however, if I was doing that, I certainly wasn't doing it on purpose, I was asking my team to go out and play attacking football!
