That is something that Photoshop really goofed up on and needs to fix. Who in this world creates a cast shadow and then later wanting to create a smaller version of the art reduces it in size and then says "wow, I'm sure glad that the cast shadow looks way different than the way I created it and stayed the exact distance in pixels away from the letters now that it's small!
People don't think in exact pixels, we think about how the image looks. Computers think in exact pixels. We should not have to think like a computer to create the art we want, the computer should be created to think like people!
